Lul Reel — Highly Anticipated
Not really sure what’s goin on here with this cover, but it’s coo I guess haha.
Love me some super distorted 808s. Maaaaaan! “Satanic” is a bangerrrr! I love when a song has a longer intro then just jumps into the beat. Most of these songs aren’t too crazy fr. He has a few bangers, but I’m not sure if this sound can really make a solid complete album.

BigXthaPlug — BETTER OVER TIME
Coo cover. Showing the different eras of his life.
I am excited to hear some southern rap. Always loved the sound of the south fr.
I love that “BURN” feat. Ava Max has this big ballad chorus. “I LIKE IT” feat. Loe Shimmy is the first song that I reallly enjoy fr. This song has a different energy about it that I really like. The others before are all solid tracks, just missing something. OOooo! The beat and sample on “ONE” is heaaaaat!
Whole album is coo. Just only has a few really stand out tracks for me.

MAF Teeski — SCOOM OR DIE
I am always gonna love a black and white cover!
But maaaan, wtf was this? Haha Idk if it’s just his voice or the lyrics, but this album was not it fr.

J Castle — TRAP MEDALLO - EP
Not a bad cover, I enjoy the chrome effect on the text.
These few tracks are coo, I really like the idea of a producer just throwing a few tracks out there featuring a few different rappers on each song.

Ex:Re — Save As
I really love this image they used for the cover. A very lovely shot.
“Sleep” sounds so spacey and soothing. I really love the soft but still pacey instrumental. Same with most of this album. I enjoy the very soothing approach to the music. Not overly produced. Almost acoustic or something.
6.5/10
Dani Barranco — ESO NO ES DE ROCKSTAR
Very dope cover. She looks like a star fr. Love the car seat materials haha
First few songs aren’t super interesting, but “8 preguntas” feat. Corina Smith is a fun banger. Other than this song, I am not a big fan of how processed her voice sounds throughout the album. Feels unauthentic or something.
5.5/10
Nino Breeze — NON-FICTION - EP
Simple cover, nothing wild here.
I sorta really like the way this foo raps haha. He’s kinda just talking with this heavy accent. The beats on the first couple songs aren’t really where it’s at, but on “33 Zips” feat. AgnsBill, the beat shows up. Rest of the EP really isn’t anything crazy. Bruh has a great voice tho. Just needs better lyrics and beat selections.

BKTHERULA — N5ON
LOVE this cover. Super great image.
I thought that BK made rap music, so I am hyped to see this album in the Dance category.
Really love the sound of her voice on a lot of these songs. Fun to hear the different pitches n shit she can bounce between.
Overall the album is fine, nothing really dope fr. I am not an expert on Dance music fr, but from what I’ve heard, this isn’t top tier.

Nomi. — this wolf may cry
I love the drums on “sweet talk” and littered throughout the album. I enjoy how soft her singing is on each track here. A very lovely listening experience.
7.5/10
Young Nudy — Just Doin Me
Pretty dope cover. I love the paisley look. Super textured.
I really like “Chicken Tender”, but I sorta wish the beat was louder. His vocals are hella loud I feel like haha “Who Dat Is” is a fun banger. I love the southern bounce of these songs.
Can’t help but love a 21 verse, and I was not disappointed with “Spinnin” feat. 21 Savage. There is almost an older Gucci Mane sound coming from a lot of these songs. I’m here for it. “Why Would I” is a BANGGGERRR haha
Actually a really dope album. I really enjoyed the main tracks and also thought the few features were SUPER well executed.
8/10
Dominic Fike — HOW TO QUIT SMOKING
Is he waterboarding himself? Haha
“WALLFLOWER” is a super fun way to start the album. It’s giving me some lighthearted summer vibes. “SMALL TOWN” feat. Gabriel Jacoby & Emma Ogier is also great. I love the lil acapella bit at the jump. I’ve never really listened to Dominic Fike, but I really like this singer/rapper vibe. Almost like he’s reading poems or something over the instrumentals. I love the ODB vibe on “WAR MACHINE”, super fun lil pull.
Fun project. I would be interested in exploring more of Dominic’s catalog.
